California Senator Arrested For DUI

Sen. Roy Ashburn was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence or DUI. The Senator's vehicle was spotted driving erratically near the Capitol when it was pulled over by local law enforcement. The Senator had a Blood Alcohol Level of .14, which is .06 points over the legal limit in California. The
DUI arrest made headlines because the Senator was leaving a gay club when he was pulled over. Soon after the DUI arrest the Senator told the public that he was gay.
